This mix of old and new is extremely beneficial. We are building from our past successes, learning from our previous missteps, and combining it all by creating a new spin on things. This has allowed for varied perspectives, great learning opportunities, and more creative solutions for clients.”

What’s your favourite book and/or movie and why?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I have read it 4 times; years apart, and feel that every time I read it, I take away something different from it.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I speak Italian. The first time I went to Italy, I immediately felt a sense of being home. I decided on that trip that I wanted to make sure that when I came back, I would be able to speak with the locals. As fate would have it, I wound up marrying an Italian!

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be and why?
I wish I could speak more languages. I speak and understand 3 languages which is such a gift, however, the more languages you can speak, the more people you can reach. Knowledge is power.

What was the single-most influential event of your lifetime?
The birth of my son.

What was the most interesting or unusual job you’ve ever had?
My first job was selling hotdogs at the Olympic Stadium during Expo’s games.

Where would you travel to if you could go anywhere in the world?
Italy or Bermuda. Two of my favourites.

What’s your go-to Karaoke song?
Eye of the Tiger
