What’s your favourite book and/or movie and why?
I really enjoy historical fiction. I find it uplifting to read about how people have made it through hard times. Two of my favourites in this genre are All the Lights We Cannot See and Salt to the Sea.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I love to cook. It’s my biggest passion. I like the actual cooking but also the presentation. It makes me happy to put together a nice meal for my family.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be and why?
I would love to be a high-end chef. It’s my dream to take cooking classes in France and own my own restaurant.
What was the single-most influential event of your lifetime?
The birth of my two children.
What was the most interesting or unusual job you’ve ever had?
Early on, I had a job in bookkeeping. It was not a good fit. It helped me realize what I was not looking for which allowed me to find my role at Accent which I love.
Where would you travel to if you could go anywhere in the world?
I would love to do a European tour and sample the cuisine in all the different countries.
What’s your go-to Karaoke song?
I’d probably choose one of Madonna’s songs from the 80’s.
