Benoit is Accent’s talented Senior Graphic Designer who is often praised for his creativity and exceptional designs.  When asked what he enjoys most about working at Accent, he says “I love collaborating with my colleagues.  And I love helping to find solutions for our clients, whether it’s for the creation or the logistics of their projects.”  He says that although he’s been with Accent for 13 years, he’s proud of the fact that he’s still having fun.

Benoit holds a D.E.C. in Graphic Design.

What’s your favourite book and/or movie and why?
I loved the whole series of Harry Potter books. The mood created in these books was great.  Actually, I love everything magical. I also like the books from the philosopher Frederic Lenoir.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
My close friends are already aware, but I have been practicing yoga for 12 years now. It helps me eliminate stress and maintain my flexibility.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be and why?
A pianist.  I love the piano and would love to learn to play it.  This would perhaps be a good retirement project!  I really enjoy the music of Alexandra Stréliski.

What was the single-most influential event of your lifetime?
It was probably the death of my father. It’s hard to lose the people you love, and death makes you realize how quickly time passes and that you should appreciate every moment.

What was the most interesting or unusual job you’ve ever had?
I’m going to go with the strangest one even if it’s a bit embarrassing.  For a summer job, I was a mascot at the Jean-Talon market.  I had to dress as a piece of corn. I have pictures to prove it, but I won’t be sharing them any time soon!

Where would you travel to if you could go anywhere in the world?
There are many places I’d like to visit but since we are in a bit of a heatwave, I will choose Iceland. I think it’s a beautiful country with extraordinary landscapes, although perhaps a bit lunar.

What’s your go-to Karaoke song?
To end it all on a humorous note I would say: I will survive! It’s a classic that can be a showstopper!
